There are two holiday lets available all year round at Achray Farm. The farm is the perfect location for hiking, cycling & touring (right on the Great Trossachs Path and the gateway to the forest). Access first from the door and an easy walk to local pub or tearoom. We have our own solar and biomass heating.
The Old Farmhouse (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, up to 6) was renovated opened in 2019 to retain the old farmhouse style with a cosy living room and attic bedrooms. The modern galley kitchen and new bathrooms and heating give plenty of space to try boots and spend time indoors as well as out. Though extended over the years, it’s still as easily recognisable as the photos we have from the 1970s and when it was the new farmhouse in the 1870s.
The Cake House (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom up to 4) followed in 2021, restored to create contemporary bright, spacious, accommodation whist retaining original features and accessible friendly. The building has been designed with sustainability and aesthetic in mind. Internal features include wood burning stove complemented by natural cork flooring, heavy reclaimed timber doors, tough bamboo flooring in the bedrooms and reclaimed wooded shutters. Natural environmentally friendly paint has been used throughout.

This is why you travel. Beautiful cottage on the most peaceful piece of land. The goats were adorable and the house so cozy. I wish I could’ve stayed for weeks. One of my favorite Airbnb trips.
